This authentic, more than 100-hundred year-old Montenegrin home, located in the village of Limljani in Crmnica, has been renovated to reflect the original style of stone homes typical of this region.

This home consists of one larger bedroom (total of 3 beds for 5 persons and baby crib). The kitchen is fully equipped. There is seperate toilet, shower, a covered terrace and yard, and an outdoor pool.

This home is ideal for a family vacation, a small group, to enjoy in peace and quiet that only a village can offer.

The village is located between the Adriatic Sea and National park Lake Skadar. Limljani is located about 6 km away from the town of Virpazar on Lake Skadar, and 12 km from the well known beach of Sutomore.

A special attraction in the village is St. Tomas’ Church, which is unique and wonderful. According to tradition, St. Thomas’ Church and the nearby graveyard, slid down a 100m slope, together with the rock they were built on. The church stayed whole, and only changed its orientation – it now stands in the southeast-northwest direction.

Limljani is well known for its grapes and production of dark red Vranac wine. Tourists will find several opportunities for wine tasting and opportunities to purchase wine from local growers.

Lunch with traditional specialties will be organised in a wine cellar with the tasting of famous domestic wine from Crmnica, which is a real pleasure for tourists.

In the first half of the 20th century, the legendry train “Chiro” traversed through the mountains in the village of  Limljni. This was the reason for Limljani to be entered into the Guinness Book of Records, as the only village with 5 train stations.

In a radius of about 10 km, you can enjoy the many attractions of the sea, lake and magnificent mountain peaks. You will see 14th century monasteries on islands in Lake Skadar, the fort and the old urban center in the region, the famous wine cellars, enjoy hiking and biking trails, kayak, bird watching, swimming in fresh and salt water, as well as taste traditionally prepared food from the sea and lakes, all served by friendly hosts which will make your stay unforgettable.
